Save-the-date videos:
Instead of sending your family and friends a card in the mail letting them now the exciting news of your engagement and upcoming wedding date, we can create a unique video letting everyone you love know the incredible news. The style of the video whether it be a fun upbeat music video, the story of your proposal or a fun look at your lives together is up to you. Together we will find the perfect way to share this moment in a unique way.
Same day editing:
Have your ceremony captured in signature Marliss Production style. We will film your ceremony and edit it artistically so that you can share it with your family and friends at your reception or quietly enjoy it as a freshly married couple in the morning all snuggled up. You can heighten this feature by including coverage of your photo session, we will capture stunning moving images of you and your bridal party.
“Trash the Dress”:
We will take you out to a fabulous location on a day after your wedding and get you all dressed up again for a fun, stress free video shoot. If you are not planning on having video coverage of your wedding day this is a great option. This is also a great opportunity to have to footage shot in beautiful 16mm or super 8mm film. This doesn’t mean we will “trash” your gown, but it allows you to feel more free to do fun things all dressed up without having to worry about getting dirty before your ceremony or reception. If you do want to really “trash” the dress we can do some crazy artistic shots.

Marliss Productions presents “Veil”, an intimate and informal wine and canape party for couples who are planning their wedding. A small select group of seasoned wedding pros have agreed to share their time for you to ask questions and pick their creative brains. The event will take place at Terminal City Club on January 31, 2010 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm so feel free drop in anytime to visit with us. Entrance is FREE with invitation so please email us at weddings@marlissproductions.com to receive yours.

We are super excited to be participating in Lovestruck Wedding Show this Sunday at the beautiful Vancouver Club. Who do you know getting married? It’s been a long time in the making but we finally have our new site up and running.YAHOO! Our new look is truly inspired by our love for Hollywood and film. Steph and I have spent lots of time in LA both working and just for pleasure and we are always drawn to the old movie palaces and historical studios. The golden age of Hollywood is not only “old movies”, but it was an era complete with amazing art deco architecture, warm colours such as rich velvety reds and dusty golds. When we were thinking what our new site should look like we were both sitting in a movie theatre waiting for the show to start when we looked at each other and said ” a vintage movie theatre!” at the exact same time. We then got Tanya, our incredible designer on board and she listened to all our ideas and made them into reality and we couldn’t be happier, thanks Tanya, you rock! We will be frequently adding new fun footage for you to enjoy both in COMING ATTRACTIONS, FILMS page and our BLOG so stay tuned.
